The Chalets Fanes are a group of 8 units and part of a larger hotel complex in Alta Badia, South Tyrol. The interior design focusses on natural and regional materials combined with contemporary elements. Located in a high alpine area and neighbouring a building who's origins derive from the 16 th century, the external architecture including the choice of materials and proportions aims to present the chalets as a grown part of the ensemble rather than to attract attention. The chalets are flexible: they can be connected to each other, forming larger units, according to the clients's needs and wishes. The project was designed and completed in collaboration with Style & Concept SAS di Christian Schärmer, Bolzano.
